We recently read an article, “Big Pharma and Organized Crime: They are More Similar Than You May Think.” The point made in the article is the side effects of organized crime are killings and deaths, and the side effects are the same in the drug industry. This appeared quite shocking, but the more we read the article, the more we understood the point.
“Big Pharma” is not seeking what is best for patients. The industry contains examples of wrongful death, extortion, fraud, corruption, obstruction of justice, embezzlement, fake journals, harassment, and hit lists according to this article. This may seem astounding, but unfortunately, we all know that there is a tremendously huge drug problem in this country.
At Caring Medical, we strive to figure out the underlying cause of our patients’ diseases and injuries. We do not just prescribe drugs, including pain medications. We have stood by this philosophy for over 27 years. This applies not only to prescription pain medications, but medications for other conditions, including high blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, depression, anxiety, autoimmune diseases, and the like.
Life is not about “just taking a pill” to obtain a solution. It’s about fixing the underlying problem so that it does not return. Unfortunately, our fast-paced society has become a “just take a pill” type of society where we want to avoid confrontation of any kind.
We encourage you to take matters into your own hands and avoid pill popping at all costs! How? Eat organic fresh food. Learn to cook your own food. Dump the fake food! Spend time with loved ones. Keep moving – every day, multiple times per day. Stop sitting so much. Stop the face-down lifestyle. Disconnect from your devices. Stop watching negative news. Control your environment and expose yourself to positivity. Get outside. Enjoy life! And finally, if you are suffering from an injury that has become chronic, consider coming to see one of the experts in the field of regenerative medicine who practices right here in your own backyard: Caring Medical’s Ross Hauser, MD.
Life is a journey, albeit a short one. Let’s make the most of it!
