We hope that you are all doing well as we are now in the middle of March 2023 already! Sheesh! Where does the time go?

March is National Nutrition Month.

As you know, we have a passion for food; for eating healthy; for eating real food.

We know that what we put into our bodies makes a huge difference in whether or not we will develop diseases of aging, have energy, and feel good on a daily basis.

Common ailments such as GI complaints (irritable bowel, constipation, diarrhea, gastritis, GERD, and the like), as well as adult onset diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, and even some cancers can be related to the foods we eat – or don’t eat.

Eating fresh real food that is naturally high in protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals will help your metabolism normalize in so many ways that there will be no need for a “diet” – just a lifestyle!

Never underestimate the power of food!

Do you want to change the way you eat?

We are reading this great book called Atomic Habits by James Clear. This is an extremely practical book that helps people accomplish more by focusing on less. He has spent years honing the art and studying the science of habits. We recommend you give this book a read if you are hoping to make some changes in your eating, as well as in other areas of your life!

Focus on who you wish to become. Sandwich new habits along with habits you already have. Surround yourself with others who have the habits that you wish to adopt. Establish cues for yourself. Remove the obstacles. These are just a few of the tips he discusses in the book. The author’s own personal journey is worth the read in and of itself.

You will see that it is not that difficult to guide your life in a different direction with a better system that optimizes change – one tiny step at a time – little habits that are part of a larger system – that allows you to make incremental changes that end up becoming an incredible source of power.

So, we encourage you not to just say, “I want to eat better” but to do something about it this time!

Truly, your life depends on it!
