First and foremost, thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers from Hurricane Milton, we are grateful to share that we have fully recovered!
These last few seasons of our lives have been extremely challenging, however, we are standing firm on the idea that God always uses things for our good, even our hurt.
Take the men in the fire. Isaiah 48:10 says “See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
God uses our trials, like damage from a hurricane, to grow our faith and trust in Him! The test of faith that comes from the “fire,” allows for us to be refined into something we would not have otherwise been able to become!
Rick Warren recently shared a message on this, stating, “wherever you are feeling the heat today, you need to remember what the fire is producing in your life. Trusting God will not always take away the heat.”
Our faith doesn’t take away our hurt however it does remind us of God’s goodness and closeness even through toughest of battles. He goes through the fire with us, refining us for the better!
Here’s to being warriors of the Lord!!
