Peace in the in-between

We can often find ourselves questioning why something happens to us. But we also often have absolutely no idea why God does what He does.

Romans 8:28 says this, ” And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

But what does that actually mean?

God takes ALL things into consideration when we only have a small part of the story. We might not always have the answers but we can assure you that if something is not good, then God is not done! God’s plan includes using all things, including good and bad, to work for the good of those who love him.

Now, this is not to say that it is guaranteeing a painless life, but it does assure us that God can use our suffering for our ultimate good and for the good of others.

So, as believers, it is our duty to find peace in the in-between and unknown, to have full faith that God is working for our eternal good, and trust that He is good!
