Stage 1:
Cervical Dysstructure Stage
Either because of traumatic event or cell phone addiction (face down lifestyle), the posterior cervical ligaments (especially the capsular) become overstretched and injured, leading to ligamentous cervical instability, and ultimately a breakdown of the cervical curve known as cervical dysstructure.
Stage 2:
Internal Jugular Vein Compression stage
Both the ligamentous cervical instability and dysstructure kead to a fowrad atlas that obstructs the interbal jugular veins, the main drainage ports of the brain. This obstruction is especially significant if it occurs during sleeping (supine position).
Stage 3:
Elevated CSF Pressure Stage
As fluid is inhibited from exiting the brain, elevated venous pressure leads to elevated cerebrospinal fluid pressure.
Stage 4
Posterior Eye Squish Stage
As fluid flow is inhibited from the brain, brain pressure increases (intracranial hypertension); this inhibition along with an increase in CSF pressure, causing CSF to accumulate around the optic nerve and increased pressure on the back of the eye: the so-called “posterior eye squish.”
Stage 5
Pupiliary Dilution State
Eventually the tension on the carotid sheath leads to vagus nerve degeneration and an imbalance of the sympathetic/parasympathetic systems’ influence on the eye, leading to pupillary dilation and the conditions such as amaurosis fugax (from the Greek amaurosis, meaning dark, and the Latin fugax, meaning fleeting.)

Stage 6
Eye Fluid Outflow Obstruction Stage
The chronic pupil dilation, along with venous outflow obstruction, cause an inhibition of fluid flow out of the eye at the trabecular meshwork and Schlemm’s canal.
Stage 7
Increase in intraocular Pressure Stage
As fluid is unable to get out of the eye and the eye itself is being compressed posteriorly, the eye pressure increases.

Stage 8
Blood-Ocular Barriers Breakdown Stage
The combination of all the previous stages leads to a breakdown in the blood-retinal and blood-aqueous humor barriers in the eye.
Stage 9
Eye Pollution Stage
The inability of the fluid to exit the eye, along with the blood-ocular barriers breaking down, leads to toxins and various other pollutants accumulating in the eye. The combination of all the previous stages leads to a breakdown in the blood-retinal and blood-aqueous humor barriers in the eye.
Stage 10
Eye Degeneration Stage
If the internal jugular vein compression from ligamentous cervical instability is not corrected, the eye undergoes a double squish as pressure accumulates within and on the posterior aspect of the eye. All the various stages progress to the point where numerous parts of the ye degenerate, including the retina, macula, and lens.
